"It aims to provide information on the design, construction, and equipment of small fishing vessels with a view to promoting the safety of the vessel and safety and health of the crew. Those guidelines serve as a guide but do not replace national laws and regulations".

Notice E from the Danish Maritime Authority, Chapter XXV, Prevention of pollution by waste from ships of 1 May 2005. All kinds of plastic including synthetic rope and fishing nets as well as garbage bags are forbidden to be disposed of into the sea.

Ordinance on the protection of wild animal and plant species. § 4 refers to prohibited actions, procedures and devices and defines rules to regulate the practice of fishing.

Food, consumer goods and feed Code. Includes regulations regarding aquaculture as fish and other seafood products fall into the category "Nutztiere" of the law.

Announcements from the Danish Maritime Authority F, small commercial vessels' buildings and equipment, etc., Chapter XXV, prevention of pollution by waste from vessels. Rule 3 on the disposal of waste in the North and Baltic Sea area forbids to throw synthetic fishing nets and other wastes made of plastic into the sea.

"The purpose of the Protocol is similar to that of the Convention, but the Protocol is more restrictive: application of a "precautionary approach" is included as a general obligation; a "reverse list" approach is adopted, which implies that all dumping is prohibited unless explicitly permitted; incineration of wastes at sea is prohibited; export of wastes for the purpose of dumping or incineration at sea is prohibited".

Ordinance on coastal fisheries. Refers to the Lower Saxony Fishing Law, Regulations (EU) 404/2011, (EC) 1224/2009. Contains specific rules regarding mussels fishing. Sets catch restrictions, the use of fishing gears, the registration and identification of fishing vessels for coastal and deep sea fishing.

On the submission of statistical data on landings of fishery products in Member States and repeals Council Regulation (EEC) No 1382/91. Amended by Regulations (EU) No 517/2013 and (EU) No 1350/2013.

Lays down detailed rules for calculating aid granted by Member States to producer organisations in the fisheries and aquaculture sector

On animal health requirements for aquaculture animals and products thereof, and on the prevention and control of certain diseases in aquatic animals. Refers to the CITES Convention.

On organic production and labelling of organic products and repeals Regulation (EEC) No 2092/91. Refers to the objectives and principles for organic production, production rules, labelling, controls… including for aquaculture products.

Aims ensure that fishers shall have decent conditions of work on board fishing vessels with regard to minimum requirements for work on board, conditions of service, accommodation and food, occupational safety and health protection, medical care and social security.
Amongst the many improvements, the new Convention:
- raises the minimum age for work on board a fishing vessels to 16 years;
- it fixes the maximum period of validity of a medical certificate to two years;
- it requires the adoption of laws regarding minimum levels of crewing and defines minimum periods of daily and weekly rest for vessels remaining at sea for more than three days;
- it establishes fishers’ entitlement to repatriation at the cost of the fishing vessel owner; and
- finally, it incorporates port State control provisions modelled on those applicable in the maritime sector".

Lays down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 861/2006 (now repealed) as regards the expenditure incurred by Member States in implementing the monitoring and control systems applicable to the Common Fisheries Policy. Amended by Regulations (EU) 1257/2009, (EU) 1054/2010 and (EU) 984/2012.

Ordinance on hygiene requirements for the production, handling and marketing of certain foods of animal origin.

Establishes measures for the recovery of the stock of European eel.

Lays down technical measures for the conservation of certain stocks of highly migratory species and repeals Regulation (EC) No 973/2001. Amended by Regulation (EC) 1559/2007 and Regulation (EU) 2017/2107. Applies to Dutch, German and Danish vessels but the regulation is not particularly relevant for the North Sea. Refers to the International Convention for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas.

Concerns the use of alien and locally absent species in aquaculture. Refers to the Convention on Biological Diversity.

Lays down management, conservation and control measures applicable in the Convention area of the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT). Amends Council Regulations (EC) No 1936/2001, (EC) No 1984/2003 and (EC) No 520/2007. Refers to the International Convention for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas. Defines management, conservation and control measures concerning certains species (tropical tuna, swordfish, sharks, seabirds, sea turtles...)

Amends Regulation (EEC) No 3440/84 as regards conditions for certain trawls for vessels operating pump aboard systems

Amends Decision 2005/429/EC establishing a specific monitoring programme related to the recovery of cod stocks

Lays down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products with regard to organic production, labelling and control.

Regulation containing rules on aquaculture. Refers to Directive No. 2006/88, Regulations (EC) 2017/625, (EU) 854/2004, (EC) 1099/2009 and (EC) 98/58; the Fisheries Act of 1963, the Health and Welfare Law, the Regulation on sea and coastal fisheries and the Decree on suspicious animals. Establishes the legal framework on aquaculture in the Netherlands. Executive Order on the conditions for commercial fishing of eel in salt water and fresh water. Refers to the Fisheries Act.

Law on the publication of information on the payment of funds from the European Fund for Agriculture and Fisheries. Implements Regulation (EU) 508/2014 on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund. It defines which national and federal states agencies are responsible of these funds.

Ordinance on the publication of information on the payment of funds from the European Agricultural and Fisheries Funds. Refers to the Law on the publication of information on the payment of funds fron the European Fund for Agriculture and Fisheries and to the Regulation (EU) 508/2014.

Ordinance on fish disease. This ordinance serves to implement Council Directive 2006/88 /EC of October 24, 2006 with health and hygiene regulations for animals in aquaculture and aquaculture products and for the prevention and control of certain aquatic animal diseases.
