On transmissible animal diseases and amending and repealing certain acts in the area of animal health (‘Animal Health Law’)

Amends Regulation (EC) No 889/2008 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products with regard to organic production, labelling and control

Marine Installation Act. This law applies to the construction, operation and modification of facilitaties in the area of the exclusive economic zone and on the high seas under certain conditions. This includes aquaculture facilities.

Amending Regulation for the implementation regulation for sea fisheries

Amends Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1395/2014 establishing a discard plan for certain small pelagic fisheries and fisheries for industrial purposes in the North Sea

Amends Delegated Regulation (EU) 2015/242 laying down detailed rules on the functioning of the Advisory Councils under the common fisheries policy

Implements the Agreement concerning the implementation of the Work in Fishing Convention, 2007 of the International Labour Organisation, concluded on 21 May 2012 between the General Confederation of Agricultural Cooperatives in the European Union (Cogeca), the European Transport Workers' Federation (ETF) and the Association of National Organisations of Fishing Enterprises in the European Union (Europêche)

Order on the rearing of mussels and oysters in the water column. Refers to the Fisheries Act. The Executive Order covers the farming of mussels and oysters in the water column on Danish fishing territory.

Act on Investigation, Prevention and Remediation of Environmental Damage (Environmental Damage Act). This act aims to "ensure that the person responsible for an environmental damage or an imminent danger of an environmental damage prevents and remedies the damage or danger and bears all coasts for this". It applies pursuant to the environmental protection act, the act on the protection of the marine environment, the law on watercourses, the law on nature protection, the law on forests, the law on raw materials and the rules laid down in accordance with the coastal protection act.

Amends Regulation (EU) No 1380/2013 on the common fisheries policy

Establishes the list of Union inspectors who may carry out inspections pursuant to Council Regulation (EC) No 1224/2009.

Executive Order on the determination of environmental objectives for watercourses, lakes, transitional waters, coastal waters and groundwater. Refers to the Water Planning Act and to EU Regulations but not directly related to fisheries.

On official controls and other official activities performed to ensure the application of food and feed law, rules on animal health and welfare, plant health and plant protection products, amending Regulations (EC) No 1069/2009, (EU) 2016/429, Council Regulations (EC) No 1/2005 and (EC) No 1099/2009 and Council Directives 98/58/EC, and repealing Regulations (EC) No 854/2004 and (EC) No 882/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council, Council Directives 89/608/EEC, 89/662/EEC, 90/425/EEC, 91/496/EEC, 96/23/EC, 96/93/EC and 97/78/EC and Council Decision 92/438/EEC. Refers among other to fisheries and aquaculture products (Art 18, 49, 55, 77, Annex IV).

Executive Order on the discharge of waste from ships and platforms. Forbids dumping of fishing gears other than accidental loss or dumping done to protect the marine environment or for the safety of the ship or crew.

On the establishment of a Union framework for the collection, management and use of data in the fisheries sector and support for scientific advice regarding the common fisheries policy and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No 199/2008. Refers to the collection and management of data in the framework of multinational union programmes, the use of data and the support for scientific advice.

Executive Order on keeping a logbook, etc. Refers to the Fisheries Act. Concerns the obligation of keeping a logbook on fishing vessels and several measures relating to this obligation.

On the Union fishing fleet register. Refers to the use of the Union fishing fleet register, the data collection in the national fishing fleet register, the data submission, the common fleet register number…

Fisheries Act. The purpose of the Act is to ensure protection of living resources in salt and fresh water as well as protection of other animal and plant life, to ensure a sustainable basis for commercial fishing and related industries as well as the possibility of recreational fishing. Also concerns molluscs and aquaculture as a whole. Refers to the Habitats Directive and EU directives and regulations on fisheries in general.

Defines characteristics for fishing vessels (length, breadth, tonnage, engine power, data of entry in service…) and repeals Regulation No 2930/86.

Act on the Green Development and Demonstration Program. The purpose of the Act is sought to be fulfilled through a research and innovation effort, which is organized in a Green Development and Demonstration Program in the field of food, agriculture, fisheries and aquaculture.

On the sustainable management of external fishing fleets, and repeals Council Regulation (EC) No 1006/2008. Concerns the fishing vessels flying a third country flag within the EU waters. Refers to the eligibility criteria, reflagging operations, management of fishing authorisations, quotas, implementing measures... Refers to the UNCLOS and the Agreement for the implementation of the provisions of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea of 10 December 1982 relating to the conservation and management of straddling fish stocks and highly migratory fish stocks.

Marine Strategy Act. Establishes a strategy for the marine environment in Denmark. Defines what a good status of conservation is (healthy stocks of fish for example) and designates aquaculture and fisheries as activities which can threathen the marine environment. The law implements parts of Directive 2008/56 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 June 2008 establishing a framework for Community action in the field of marine environmental policy (Marine Strategy Framework Directive).

Sea and Fisheries Fund Act. Refers to Regulation (EU) 508/2014. Applies to aquaculture and fisheries.

Establishes fisheries conservation measures for the protection of the marine environment in the North Sea.

Promulgation of the law on structural measures concerning the fisheries sector. The purpose of the Act is to promote renewal and adaptation of the structures for commercial fishing, aquaculture and the processing and marketing of products therefrom. The purpose is also to promote the transition in the fisheries-dependent areas in Denmark.

Amends Regulation (EC) No 889/2008 as regards feed for certain organic aquaculture animals

Amends Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/118 establishing fisheries conservation measures for the protection of the marine environment in the North Sea

Executive Order on production tax on fish landed by Danish fishing vessels. Refers to the Fisheries Act.

Lays down rules on the format and timetables for the submission of annual data collection reports in the fisheries and aquaculture sectors. Refers to the content of annual reports, the correlation with the multi-annual Union programme and the compilation of those annual reports. Several annexes details the rules to be followed on the matter.

Executive Order on safety work in fishing vessels (Working environment in vessels)

Executive Order on the prevention and management of the introduction and spread of invasive non-native species on the EU list and on a national list of trade bans, etc. against invasive species. Refers to the Nature Conservation Act, Regulations (EU) 2016/1141 and (EU) 1143/2014. Refers to the Convention on Biological Biodiversity, the Habitats Directive, Directive 2000/60/EC, Directive 2008/56/EC (MSFD), the Birds Directive, Regulation (EC) 708/2007.

Supplements Regulation (EU) No 1143/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to risk assessments in relation to invasive alien species. Refers to the Convention on Biological Diversity

State ordinance for the implementation of the State Fisheries Act.

State ordinance on the practice of fishing on the coasts (Inshore Fishing Ordinance - KüFVO). Refers to the State Fisheries act (LFischG). The ordinance applies for all fishing techniques in Schleswig-Holstein coastal waters except if EU legal acts say otherwise. Defines rules applicable in the coastal waters of Schleswig-Holstein regarding fisheries. Refers to the State Fisheries Act.

State ordinance on the competence of nature conservation authorities especially § 6 referring to the fisheries authorities. Refers to the Law for the protection of nature (LNatSchG).

Amends Regulation (EC) No 889/2008 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products with regard to organic production, labelling and control

Establishes a multiannual plan for demersal stocks in the North Sea and the fisheries exploiting those stocks, specifying details of the implementation of the landing obligation in the North Sea and repeals Council Regulations (EC) No 676/2007 and (EC) No 1342/2008. Amended by Regulations (EU) 2019/1241 and (EU) 2019/972.

Executive Order on minimum sizes for fish and crustaceans in salt water. Applies to fishing in Danish fishing territory and to fishing with a Danish registered fishing vessel outside this area.

Establishes specific control and inspection programmes for certain fisheries and repeals Implementing Decisions 2012/807/EU, 2013/328/EU, 2013/305/EU and 2014/156/EU. Amended by Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2020/1320. It covers, among other areas, the North Sea.
